Getting Started with Up4it

Feature availability

Up4it is an evolving product. Screens, controls, and concepts described here may differ by version. Planned features in the Roadmap are not available until released.

1. Before Creating an Account

You must be at least 13 and meet the eligibility rules in the Terms of Service. Review those Terms and the Privacy Policy before registration.

If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, ask a parent or legal guardian to review and agree to the Terms with you. Complete any parental-authorization or age-assurance step required where you live. Members aged 13 to 17 should also read the shorter Young Members Policy.

2. Create and Secure Your Account

1. Open an official Up4it application or visit up4it.io.
2. Choose an available sign-in method and provide the requested account information.
3. Complete any verification step shown.
4. Review the audience and privacy controls available in your version.

Use a strong, unique password where password login is offered. Do not share credentials or verification codes.

3. Set Up Your Profile

Add only information appropriate for other Members who may see your profile. A profile does not prove identity, qualifications, background, or safety. Do not publish a private address, financial information, identity document, or another person’s data.

4. Understand the Core Concepts

• Up for expresses your willingness or availability to take part in an activity.
• Moods are short-lived signals of what you may want to do.
• Moments coordinate a concrete activity, time, place, and Participants.
• Upcoming is a planned public-facing concept and may not be available in the current version.
• Friends are mutual relationships with people you know and trust.
• Circles help organize Friends for audience selection and invitations.
• Communities are planned collective concepts and may not be available in the current version.

Terminology describes the product model, not a guarantee that every feature is active.

5. Create or Join Safely

Where creation is available:

1. Describe the activity accurately.
2. Choose only the audience that should see it.
3. Share a precise private location only when necessary and only with the appropriate Participants.
4. Disclose material risks, requirements, accessibility conditions, and any external cost.
5. Review the details before publishing or joining.

Up4it does not currently process payments. Do not send payment credentials through Content or messages. See the Safety Guidelines and Participant Refund Information.

6. Ephemeral Does Not Mean Immediate Erasure

Moods and Moments are designed to stop being visible after expiry or completion. Limited data may remain for backup, security, safety, legal, or rights-request purposes. See the Privacy Policy.

7. Get Help or Report a Concern

For support, email support@the-corner.io. For Content, conduct, or safety reports, follow the Reporting and Appeals Policy. Contact local emergency services first for an imminent danger.
