Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy. It covers cookies, software development kits, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies used by Up4it websites and applications (Technologies).
1. Current Help Center Configuration
Section titled “1. Current Help Center Configuration”At the date above, this Help Center is configured without advertising cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party behavioural analytics. It may use essential browser storage needed for security, reliable delivery, or a preference you request.
The Up4it application may use secure device storage or similar app technologies for authentication, security, and requested preferences. These technologies do not always appear as browser cookies.
2. Categories
Section titled “2. Categories”| Category | Purpose | Choice |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Authentication, security, fraud prevention, network delivery, load balancing, and remembering a privacy choice | Used only where necessary to provide or secure the service; disabling them may prevent a feature from working |
| Preferences | Remember a language, audience, accessibility, or interface choice requested by you | May be controlled in the relevant settings or browser/device controls |
| Analytics | Understand performance and feature use using proportionate data | Not activated where consent is legally required unless you opt in |
| Advertising | Cross-site tracking, advertising profiles, or personalized advertising | Up4it does not currently use this category |
Where an optional Technology is introduced, the consent interface will identify its provider, purpose, duration, and access to information on your device. Optional Technologies will remain off until valid consent is obtained where law requires, and refusing them will not disable an unrelated core service.
3. Legal Basis
Section titled “3. Legal Basis”Necessary Technologies are used to provide a feature you requested or for legitimate security and reliability needs, subject to applicable law. We seek consent before using optional analytics, advertising, or other non-essential Technologies where consent is required.
Consent must be specific and freely given. It must be as easy to reject optional Technologies or withdraw consent as it is to accept them.
4. Your Controls
Section titled “4. Your Controls”You may be able to:
- use the Platform’s cookie or privacy settings, where displayed;
- change browser settings to block or delete cookies and local storage;
- change mobile operating-system permissions and advertising controls; and
- withdraw an earlier consent without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Blocking necessary Technologies may prevent authentication or another requested function. Deleting a stored privacy choice may cause the consent interface to appear again.
5. Third-Party Links
Section titled “5. Third-Party Links”Following a link to a third-party site may allow that third party to use its own Technologies. Up4it does not control those Technologies merely because it provides a link. Review the third party’s privacy information before continuing.
6. Changes and Contact
Section titled “6. Changes and Contact”We will update this Policy before materially changing our use of Technologies and will request consent where required. For questions or to report a mismatch between this Policy and the Technologies you observe, contact support@the-corner.io.
