Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Policy

Up4it prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation. For this Policy, a child is any person under 18. Only people aged 13 or older may create an independent Up4it account.

The following are prohibited:

  • child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including realistic or computer-generated depictions where prohibited by law;
  • sexualization of a child, sexual solicitation, grooming, or attempts to arrange sexual contact;
  • requesting, offering, possessing, distributing, or threatening to distribute sexual or intimate images of a child;
  • sextortion, trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, or blackmail involving a child;
  • facilitating an adult’s inappropriate private access to a child or concealing exploitative conduct; and
  • identifying, shaming, or retaliating against a child who reports abuse.

A child must never be blamed or penalized for being exploited.

Children under 13 may not create or use independent accounts. Members aged 13 to 17 must have any permission required by applicable law and are entitled to the heightened protections in the Young Members Policy.

An Organizer who permits a minor to attend a Moment must comply with applicable safeguarding, supervision, permission, and professional-screening rules. Up4it does not perform those duties for the Organizer.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a child-protection hotline first.

Report an Up4it account or location through an available in-product control or email support@the-corner.io with the subject Urgent child safety report.

Do not download, copy, forward, or attach suspected CSAM. Provide only the account, URL, Moment, message identifier, or other information needed to locate it.

Up4it may restrict Content or accounts, prevent contact, preserve relevant information, and report suspected offences to an appropriate child-protection or law-enforcement authority where required or permitted by law. We cooperate with valid legal process.

We may use reports and proportionate technical signals to identify risk, but do not promise that automated tools or human review will detect every violation. Information about a report is handled under the Privacy Policy and may be disclosed where necessary to protect a child or comply with law.

An enforcement action may be appealed under the Reporting and Appeals Policy, unless providing the ordinary process would be unlawful or materially compromise child safety or an investigation.

Up4it is dedicated to creating a safe environment for all users, especially children and vulnerable individuals. We regularly review and update our policies and practices to ensure compliance with the latest legal requirements and industry standards.
