What are Friends?
Section titled “What are Friends?”On Up4it, Friends are people you know and trust in real life. Personal sharing of Moods, Moments, and invitations starts with Friends. The personal Friend layer is not a follower system and does not make a profile or activity public merely because someone is a Friend.
It describes the real relationship between people.
What is it for?
Section titled “What is it for?”- Build your network only with people you already know
- Share Moods and Moments privately and intentionally
- Ensure privacy, safety, and meaningful interaction
- When a Mood or Moment is relevant to a specific group, organize those friends into a Circle
How are Friends different from Circles?
Section titled “How are Friends different from Circles?”Friends are the people.
Circles are the way you organize those people for visibility, invitations, and coordination. A Circle can include close friends, family, people you often hike with, or any other trusted group that makes sharing feel clear and safe.
Friendship on Up4it is intended to be mutual and intentional, forming the core of the Platform’s friendship-first, privacy-first social model. Availability of Friend controls depends on the released version.
