Community
A group account for collective coordination
What is a Community?
Section titled “What is a Community?”A Moment may eventually be coordinated and hosted through a Community, a planned type of account managed by one or more authorized users for a group, organization, or collective.
A personal Circle may no longer be enough when a group includes paid helpers, staff, professional organizers, institutions, public participation, or a formal group identity. In those situations, the planned Community structure provides collective, role-based coordination.
What is it for?
Section titled “What is it for?”- Organize and host Moments for groups or the public
- List deliberately public Moments on a future Community website
- Manage Community membership and settings collectively
- Keep the Community private unless an authorized manager deliberately selects public visibility
How is it different from a Circle?
Section titled “How is it different from a Circle?”A Circle is personal and peer-based. It helps a user organize friends.
A Community is collective and role-based. It can represent a group, organization, team, or public-facing space with shared administration and stronger safety expectations.
