Account settings
Settings vary by app version. Use the controls available in your app, or contact support if you cannot find what you need.
1. Profile
Section titled “1. Profile”Review your display name, photo, biography, and other optional fields. Share only information suitable for the people who can see your profile. Do not impersonate someone or misrepresent your qualifications.

2. Privacy and audience
Section titled “2. Privacy and audience”Before publishing a Mood or Moment, check who can see it and whether participants can see each other. Share a precise private location only as widely as needed. Anyone who receives information may be able to copy it.

3. Friends, Circles, and blocking
Section titled “3. Friends, Circles, and blocking”Use available Circles controls to organize friends for sharing and invitations. Review who is included when relationships or circumstances change. Blocking or removing a connection may limit future contact, but does not necessarily erase content another person has already lawfully received.
4. Notifications and marketing
Section titled “4. Notifications and marketing”Manage optional reminders in the app or your device settings. Essential account, security, legal, and service notices may continue while your account is active.

5. Device permissions
Section titled “5. Device permissions”Review location, camera, photo, notification, and other permissions in your device settings. Grant only what a feature needs. Turning off a permission may disable that feature, but should not disable an unrelated core function.
6. Account security
Section titled “6. Account security”- Use a strong, unique password where password sign-in is available.
- Protect sign-in links, passkeys, and verification codes.
- Keep your device and app updated.
- Sign out of devices you no longer control, where that option is available.
If you suspect unauthorized access, promptly email support@the-corner.io with the subject “Account security”.
7. Delete your account
Section titled “7. Delete your account”Use the account-deletion control where available, or email support@the-corner.io with the subject “Privacy request”. Account closure is intended to be permanent. Limited data may still be retained for lawful reasons. See Your privacy rights.
