Extenuating Circumstances Policy

This policy describes how Up4it handles situations where unexpected events or circumstances prevent participants or organizers from fulfilling their reservation obligations.

To qualify as an extenuating circumstance, the event must be unforeseen, outside the control of all parties, and prevent fulfillment of the reservation. Supporting documentation is required.

Examples of covered extenuating circumstances include:

  • Natural disasters (earthquake, flood, hurricane, wildfire, etc.)
  • Government travel restrictions or mandates
  • Serious illness or injury (with medical documentation)
  • Death of a participant, organizer, or immediate family member
  • Epidemics or public health emergencies
  • Other events determined by Up4it to be outside the control of participants or organizers
  1. Contact Up4it at info@the-corner.io as soon as possible.
  2. Provide reservation details and a description of the circumstance.
  3. Submit supporting documentation (e.g., medical certificate, government notice, news report).
  4. Up4it will review each case individually and may offer refunds, rescheduling, or other assistance as appropriate.

The following are generally not covered:

  • Weather or transportation disruptions not classified as natural disasters
  • Pre-existing medical conditions
  • Changes in personal plans or preferences
  • Events that do not prevent fulfillment of the reservation

All decisions made by Up4it regarding extenuating circumstances are final. Up4it reserves the right to update this policy at any time.
