Copyright Policy

Up4it respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. This Copyright Policy outlines our procedures and expectations regarding claims of copyright infringement on our platform.

By using Up4it, you agree to comply with all applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are solely responsible for the content you create, upload, post, share, or otherwise make available on Up4it, including but not limited to:

  • Text
  • Images
  • Audio and video
  • Event descriptions or titles
  • Profile content

You must ensure that you either own the rights to the content or have obtained all necessary permissions or licenses to use it.

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied, used, or displayed on Up4it in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please notify us by submitting a formal takedown request via email at info@the-corner.io.

To be legally valid, your notice must include the following:

  1. A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  2. A description of where the infringing material is located on the platform (include links or screenshots, if possible).
  3. Your full legal name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We will respond to all properly formatted notices in accordance with applicable intellectual property law.

3. Removal of Content and Repeat Infringers

Upon receiving a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. We may also notify the user who posted the content and, in appropriate circumstances, disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

Up4it reserves the right to remove any content for any reason, including content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

If you believe your content was removed in error or in response to an invalid copyright claim, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:

  1. Identification of the content that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
  2. Your full name, address, phone number, and email.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original takedown notice.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may reinstate the content unless the original claimant seeks a court order.

Up4it is not a legal advisor and cannot offer legal counsel or judgment on copyright disputes. Users are responsible for understanding and complying with intellectual property laws applicable to their use of the platform.
