Our Vision

Our society has never been as connected as it is now, yet people have never felt as alone as they do today.

Our hope is to bring our app back to its roots: being helpful to humanity, not exploiting it for profit.

We understand that people may not always recognize the power of the tools used against them. We believe in using the same tactics, such as Dark Patterns, but for good. Our aim is to empower users, encouraging them to be social, go out, and experience the world.

Therefore, the more people use our apps, the less they will use their smartphones. This aligns with our mantra: “Get the F*k out.”

Many companies use ecology as a marketing tool, often engaging in greenwashing rather than making real changes. Because of this, we are cautious about using it in our communication.

As a team of young people, we know we cannot continue to exploit our planet and expect everything to be fine. We wanted to be helpful, but how could we do that as tech enthusiasts? Then social media came to mind. It may sound trivial, but we are realisticPeople will use social media for the foreseeable future, so can we do something about it?

Our goal is to automatically delete all information in our app, making it ephemeral. This reduces the ecological cost of databases and lets us try to achieve a net zero carbon footprint.

Additionally, by not using advertisements, we can optimize our apps to lower unnecessary electricity consumption. We also aim to reduce the time spent on devices, encouraging more time spent outside with friends, aligning with our ecological goals.

We strongly believe in Open Source.

We are aware of the negative impact the tech industry can have on the world. However, we believe that this industry can and will have a positive impact in the future.

Instead of working solely on our own code, we participate in and share with others. This not only increases our velocity but also helps others avoid duplicating efforts. This reduces the time needed to create new projects, maximizing the time spent on truly innovative and useful projects.
